The arched trellises, which were designed by Sasaki Associates in 1974 for the Christopher Columbus Waterfront park in the North End of Boston, Massachusetts, were lush with wisteria leaves in the summer, but are bare in the winter day of Saturday February 23.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology student from Saratoga Springs, New York, Raffaela Wakeman, 22, a senior forward makes a steal from forward freshman of Salve Regina University from Millington, New Jersey, Teresa Santore, 18. At the Johnson Ice Rink in Cambridge on Tuesday the 26th of February, Wakeman played the last game of her ten-year hockey career.

Robin Morland is an animal trainer representing Sea World and Bush Gardens at the World Travel show hosted by the Boston Globe at the World Trade Center in Boston on February 23 2008. In her arms she holds George, a silver-cheeked hornbill from Africa who she trained herself.
